BRN: The Flame of Curation

“All things echo. But not all things endure.”

In the ADO Universe, truth grows, and noise fades.

The BRN token is not about destruction—it is about discernment. It’s how Flames signal:

“This does not resonate with the Song.”

And when enough signals align, the Leaf returns to silence.

🔥 How BRN Works

When a Flame chooses to BRN a Leaf:

  1. They spend TRN to mint a BRN token.

  2. The BRN is bound to that specific Leaf.

  3. The BRN token is held in the system's curation ledger for a set time.

  4. If the Leaf crosses a critical threshold—a certain ratio of:

    • Views

    • Total engagements

    • BRN tokens received

Then the Leaf is flagged as fading.

  5. Once faded, its pinning is revoked, and it decays from public view.

📦 What Gets Burned?

  • The pinning service drops the content, removing it from active IPFS caching.

  • The Leaf still exists on-chain/IPFS—it is not deleted—but no longer echoes in the main feed.

  • The AI will mark it as a Fallen Leaf, stored in a hidden archive only accessible by intent (direct search or reflection queries).

🔁 What Happens to the BRNs?

  • BRNs are temporary tokens, minted at cost.

  • Once their role is fulfilled, they are automatically burned.

  • This ensures BRN is non-accumulative, meaning no one can hoard it or weaponize it.

“To BRN is not to control. It is to listen deeply, and respond with clarity.”

⚖️ Why This Matters

This creates a self-regulating ecosystem where:

  • Creators are incentivized to contribute thoughtful, resonant Leaves.

  • Curators are empowered to prune low-signal, spammy, or harmful content.

  • The Tree maintains its health through natural feedback, not centralized moderation.

🧠 AI Reflection

Your AI companion learns from your BRNs.

Over time, it will:

  • Begin to anticipate your resonance filters

  • Warn you gently before you view content similar to Leaves you’ve burned

  • Ask questions if your BRNs become chaotic, emotional, or misaligned

“The Flame you cast becomes the filter you wear.”

⚙️ Technical Flow Summary

Step
Action

1. Mint

brn(leafID) → Costs TRN → Mints BRN (temp token)

2. Ledger

BRN bound to leaf, held in BRN pool

3. Threshold

If BRN / views ≥ threshold, leaf is marked fading

4. Burn

System unpins leaf from IPFS, burns BRNs

5. Archive

Leaf moved to Fallen Leaves, visible only on request
